  1. It's amazing how much has changed since 2017. I think Node has flowered out and matured due to advancements in the JavaScript programming language since 2015. Node has really unified the field in a good way I think… for now. This stuff is always changing and evolving. There's always a balance between unity and valuing the collective. It would be cool to see you do a crash course on putting your site up on the Web on a variety of hosting options… how to use FTP etc. I remember in 2017 people were still debating whether Node or PHP was best. It seems like today, the future of Web Dev is leaning more towards Node and PHP is going to become more and more marginalized over time. I would recommend learning Node over PHP today in 2020. But, of course, this is 2021 basically, which is 4 years later than this 2017 video. I think this is a time of Node and JavaScript providing a unity. Now that we have TypeScript, that is a further advance which I'm sure JavaScript will incorporate more and more as the language becomes more evolved and mature. And that will push out the attractiveness of high level languages like Python as JavaScript evolves more and more as a "high level" programming language itself. The beauty of JavaScript is you only have to learn one programming language for the Web. That is really nice! JavaScript provides for a nice digital ecosystem.

  2. "Chrome, chrome or chrome" Shame on you! This shit is perfect for noobs, but for web developers I recommend Firefox with his fantastic extensions for web development and because is an open source web browser and more it's easy to customize, easy to clean, easy to plays with several profiles on the fly and even more! And because I have to use both browsers to make websites, I prefer so far the Firefox developer tools than the Chrome developer tools.

  4. Excelent video ! I already followed this path and would like to say that it doesn't take so much time to start getting benefits if you focus on the core of each component mentioned, specifically Git, Github, SSH, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST API, React and MySQL. I suggest to consider nodeJS and Semantic UI and to also consider using robust hosting and API services on the Cloud. I also suggest learning Python since it's very robust for AI, which is a big trend for this century and will probably be a big differentiator for your solution.
