So Ive been working as a Software Developer using Ruby on Rails for a while. Im trying to start doing stuff on the side for friends/family. Ive been told wordpress is the quickest/most straight forward way to do that if youre not already jumping on a system thats already been created. Do you have the same amount of control or do you have to use preset themes and what not?

Thanks for your hard work! If I change the code inside the site itself (Appearance – Theme Editor), how can I make sure that when the theme is updated, the data is not overwritten and the code continues to work with the previously made changes?

Requesting a few clarifications from you based on this Theme (Lawyer Template).
1. Can one change the post metadata icons? For instance, the author icon to one's own picture, comment icon to another icon, etc.
2. Can that BLACK COLORr named "Blog" on the pages be done away with and just have the header and header on pages? Or it is a permanent block?

Hi, I'm trying to make a site for someone else using hostinger and WordPress, and also want to do more future freelance work in the future. Of course I don't want to pay for my clients domain name or hosting so if I allowed them to pay through my account would this cause issues elsewhere or is there a better practice? This is my first time doing freelance work in this area and it may be an obvious answer but at the moment I'm uncertain and don't want to cause avoidable issues. any help is appreciated 🙂

This is a great tutorial but halfway through Elementor really seemed to have changed and is not working for my website. Thus, I haven't been able to make the website properly. Elementor isn't as easy as it is shown here or is it just me? Can somebody help out? 🙁
