  6. My ONLY problem with Mosh's material is that he is making me too good of a developer. NOT KIDDING, IT'S A PROBLEM. When I go in for coding interviews, I end up having to explain why I only wrote three lines of code and in five minutes when they were expecting ten lines in 20 minutes. I recently took a whiteboard challenge and the engineer I was paired with asked me why I'm not using VAR for every variable. When I used a ternary operator, the look on his face told me he thought I was making it up. I wrote a beautifully simplistic function doing what he asked in a fraction of the time provided, but because he was not up to date on ES6, I did not get invited to move onto the next coding challenge.

  25. Mosh I was wondering how long it could take to become intermediate – senior in Webdev and get a job ? I haven't programmed in 25 years ( I am a sysadmin) but I was doing C++, would have to relearn all Html Css , React Js etc but wouldn't start from 0 knowledge … I can study 10 12 hours a day for 2 years is that enough for a job ?

    change career have some fun work remotely etc

  41. I’m changing career to web developer because of the flexibility. Other main reasons are having a skill which able to build something from scratch and without the need for constant socialising like my current advertising job. I’m not a complete introvert but I get exhausted easily from being around people and I need a full weekend for energy recovery. It’s not a problem with computer, I can spend whole day full week on coding and my energy can be quickly reboost tru a short walk.
